We know that people in our neighbourhood want to see climate action, so we’ll be attending the strike as a Hume contingent. By attending the strike together, we’ll share this critical moment while building relationships with other locals and chatting more about what can be done in our own area.

Some people love a rally, relishing the chance to exercise their democratic rights. Others find even the thought of a rally quite stressful, yet find the idea of inaction on climate so much more stressful they're considering joining the crowds. If you're in the latter camp, meet up with us and let’s go in together!

In March, over 150,000 students and supporters across Australia struck for climate action. Since then, they're only stronger and more organised – capturing hearts and minds globally, and putting huge pressure on our leaders to step up.

Now, it's time for all of us to stand with them and turn the Hume community out to make this strike HUGE!
