Rally: Rockhampton says #StopAdani

Adani Australia is will be at the Adani Regional Content Briefing. This event is an opportunity for contractors to learn how they can get involved with the largest coal mine in Australia's history. 

Our friends from 350.org and Australian Religious Response to Climate Change will be hosting a peaceful protest outside the meeting.

The Rockhampton community is coming together to offer an alternative to Adani and attendees: don't build a giant polluting coal mine that will make climate change far worse. In a region that is already seeing devastating impacts with the death of half of the Great Barrier Reef, we have to #StopAdani!

Adani has a terrible environmental record, a history of dodgy business deals, and now is scrambling to scrape together enough of your tax dollars to build a coal mine that many experts believe will end up as a stranded asset. The business case here doesn't add up, and the climate impact would be catastrophic. Enough is enough. 

Join us at the peaceful protest to let Adani know Queensland does not want this mine!
