Did you know the bay where you catch the ferry to Straddie has been earmarked for destruction?
A stunning, beautiful part of Cleveland that has been loved and enjoyed by wildlife and people from the beginning… is now at risk of being taken away…forever!
3600 units built in the water…at least 60 buildings, some up to 10 storeys high. The population of a whole new town being added to Cleveland...imagine the extra traffic!
Surveys of the local community found a desire for better car parking and an upgrade to the ferry terminal area, but not at the cost of destroying the bay.
No, this horrendous project should not be approved by the Federal Environment Minister, and we need to get the word out to the community that it’s time for them to make a comment/submission to #SaveToondahHarbour.
