Join us for our inaugural Monthly Weeding Day!
We've connected with public school Melbourne Girls College who have a strip of land by the banks of the Birrarung (Yarra River) that they are rehabilitating with native plants - including murnongs (native yam daisies) for harvest.
They need our help to keep it weed free so it can become a self sustaining habitat corridor.
The land is flat and accessible from the Main Yarra Trail. It's a great spot, and all are welcome to help us in our restoration efforts.
What to bring: Gardening gloves, a bottle of water and a mug if you'd like a hot drink
What to wear: Clothes you won't mind getting dirty and sturdy shoes or gumboots
