Climate damage is here now yet billionaire polluters are lining up to dig and burn more coal. Coal corporation Adani want to dig one of the world’s biggest coal mines in Queensland.

But people don't want this mine. If the mine goes ahead it would create billions of tonnes of pollution, wreck our climate and spell the end for our Great Barrier Reef.

The Australian Conservation Foundation community challenged the federal government's approval of the mine in court. But our laws can’t stop the government from approving Australia’s biggest coal mine, even as the reef dies before our eyes.

Governments have a responsibility to create a future where our reef, communities and wildlife all thrive.

Federal Environment Minister, Melissa Price has the power to stop this mine. And our future depends on it. It's critical she hears from everyone who cares that we want our beautiful reef, not more polluting coal.

Sign the petition to tell the Federal Minister for Environment, Melissa Price to:

Reject Adani’s Carmichael coal mine and create strong new laws to protect our Great Barrier Reef.

If Adani is allowed to operate in Queensland. It will be the biggest act of Eco- terrorism ever carried out on Australian soil

Jill Hein – even China is rejecting coal – because it’s so dirty – what’s the matter with you?

I am grief stricken by our (humans driven by money) willingness to cut, gauge, maimand destroy our own habitat and the home of so many animal, birds, reptiles, sea life and insects with such fierce one objective vision.
Stop
Breath
Can you take it with you?
Then leave it.
Leave as you found it.
Ever been robbed? Do you know that feeling of vulnerability, that someone else’s want allowed then to act in a way that you didn’t matter?
Now put yourself in nature’s shoes.

Mr Frydenberg, All I am asking is that you heed the advice of marine scientists working to save our incredible natural landmarks. The last thing we want is for old footage to be the only record left of one of our most valuable and awe inspiring assets… https://www.facebook.com/AustralianConservationFoundation/videos/10154358961471341/ I hope you won’t be the MP who lets this happen.
