Are you concerned about climate change but new to taking action. Or a seasoned advocate, keen to connect better with others about the big issues using empathy and humour?
Wherever you fall, come learn from Craig Reucassel – presenter, prankster and passionate advocate for climate action. Craig joins Community Organiser Jude Menon for an evening of conversation and comedy.
They will explore Craig’s work on the ABC series Fight for Planet A and the upcoming Big Weather (and how to survive it). Touch on some of his funniest “behind the scenes” moments. And reflect on the importance of humour and empathy for having good conversations about challenging topics.
With the Queensland state election fast approaching, political leaders are listening to the people. So now is the perfect time for us to come together to talk about how climate solutions can help to recover, rebuild and renew the Sunshine State.
You’ll also get to hear insights from Climate Change and Clean Energy Campaigner Jason Lyddieth on what’s making Queensland decision makers sit up and listen, and how you can get their attention.
So pull up a chair and settle in for an hour. We’ll have a laugh, a smile, and walk away with (at least!) one simple action that we can each take to set a better course for everyone and every living thing.
