Make our climate safe: Slash Queensland's climate pollution by at least half this decade; slash methane emissions from existing coal and gas infrastructure; ban new coal and gas infrastructure

Protect our nature: Establish an Environmental Protection Authority for Queensland; protect 100 hectares of Queensland forest this decade

Clean up our exports and create green jobs: Create a renewable-powered exports industry to replace coal and gas exports, with 100,000 climate-positive careers for communities; guarantee jobs for fossil fuel workers

It’s about time for the change
I want to see the Queensland government to slash climate pollution and increase renewable energy output.
I want Qld to be a nature and climate champion because all of Australia should be protected for our wildlife and our children.
What is the point of living in a desperately dirty, destructive environment with threats of floods and fires wiping us out.
We know we have to do our very best to reverse the damage as soon as possible, don’t we?
Queensland has the capacity to show the world our credentials for green energy and protected national and marine parks. It will be a leader in the economics of Eco-tourism.
I want Queensland to be a climate and nature champion because it is the right action to take for all living beings now and for generations to come
We need to reduce claimte pollution urgently ino order to have a liveable future.
This is a big State and climate change will affect it more and more in the future
Queensland has so many unique features that we must protect for the good of all humankind. We expect Brazilians to protect the Amazon and yet we allow development that threatens the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree. Now Toondah Harbour mangroves and wetlands is about to be concreted to provide water view apartments for a select few, destroying habitat for the gravely endangered Eastern Curlew. It is madness and it has to be reversed. Come on Queensland, lead the way!

When it comes to climate action, I want Queensland to be a leader not a laggard.
We need to be the most beautiful, greenest and environmentally friendly state in Australia. Let the plants and animals and us live the best and healthiest lives that we can.
We need to address the fact that so much of our suburban wild life has need devastated by our suburban growth. The density of our housing leaves no room for mature snd replanting of trees takes years to grow to maturity. In that time our wild life has no habitat so die out. There is no respect for old growth forest leaving our wild life little prospect of nesting material.
Our people need education in why this is necessary and how and why they need to respect the bush that is remaining.

We have a global responsibility. What happens in Queensland affects the Climate worldwide!
Queensland can and should lead the way in renewable energy.
Our tropical climate and vast expanses of unused land make us an ideal place to gather solar and wind power.
The earth is demanding that we reduce global warming. It must happen whether we like it or not. Let us be leaders in developing the technologies for the future.
We need to start fixing and finding solutions for life today and lives in the future. We have what it takes to make it happen! Our homes, one world.
