What: Not so (Q)Super: A webinar discussing QSuper’s response to members
When: Thursday 27 May, 6-7pm AEST
Where: Online on Zoom – RSVP for the webinar link

Speakers:

  • May House – ACF Economic Analyst & Campaigner; and
  • David Barnden – Principal Lawyer, Equity Generation Lawyers.

Recently, over 140 QSuper members signed a letter asking the fund to step up for our climate.

We succeeded in getting a response from the typically tight-lipped super fund. Super fund members have power over their fund!

In their response, QSuper indicated they want to catch up to other progressive super funds and make investment choices that reduce emissions.

BUT QSuper did not lay out a plan on how they will do this, nor reach net zero emissions by 2050 – the bare minimum for any climate-conscious corporation.

So there's work to be done. But together, we can keep the pressure up, and get QSuper to be a climate ally.
