Labor has three more years in power – and a fresh start to protect our air, water, forests, reefs and wildlife.
Join thousands of people sending a message to Labor – tell them why they must make nature a top priority in this Parliament.
Last time Labor broke their promise to Australians to deliver new nature laws. Instead, they catered to the billionaire miners that dig up, burn and trash our forests, oceans and wildlife.
This time, we must hold them to account to do better for nature and keep their word. When nature suffers, our health, livelihoods and economy suffer too.
A fresh Parliament is a fresh start. Write your message to Labor now – and we’ll deliver it and thousands more when Parliament returns.
“I want Labor to deliver its promise to protect nature because...”
If Labor's failure to protect nature and the 27 coal and gas projects it approved in the last term left you feeling disappointed, you're not alone.
They melted under the mining industry’s pressure and scrapped their promise to Australians to deliver new nature laws – reforms that support sustainable Australian jobs and industries.
Then in Parliament's final days Labor gifted toxic salmon farming a free pass to pollute Macquarie Harbour – shredding the Maugean skate’s survival chances and trashing Tassie’s World Heritage!
But a promise is a promise. Labor has committed to protect nature Australia-wide with strong laws and enforcement powers – its our job to hold them to it.
Strong nature laws must be fit to stop the destruction and grow a healthy future for all and jobs that last – not favor billionaire miners that dig up, burn and trash the forests, oceans and iconic wildlife at the heart of our Aussie identity.

I didn’t vote labor for the first time in my life at the recent elections, because of your dreadful environmental record.
From what I’ve read Murray Watt will be even worse than his predecessor!
Hard to imagine that it’s possible!
Please do better in future to ensure there actually is a future worth living in.
I want Labor to deliver its promises for nature because with it’s destruction comes ours!
Very sad, given the findings of the 2021 State of the Environment Report, that the environment was hardly mentioned as an election issue. We need to do a lot better, including arm local councils to better address local clearing.
Please deliver your promises
I want Labor to commit to saving our wildlife
This is the only planet we have. We rely on it being healthy. What other reason do they need to protect it. It’s our future!
We’ve already lost far too much, far too many of the plants, insects, fish and animals that call Australia home, if not already extinct, are getting close to it and are now on the Endangered List.
This is your call.
You can be known as the party that ignored this last call to arms and be lumped in with the LNP for that egregious inaction, or you can make the change that we are ALL waiting to see!
Stand up for the environment.
Put the health of the country before the health of multinational spreadsheets.
Support the people of this continent ahead of big business.
DO THE HARD THINGS!
Congratulations on your brilliant electoral success. Now, please, take action yo protect our land, water and animals. I love the focus on renewable. Please do not approve any more coal mines!
Please protect our wonderful country! Our wildlife, koalas, brumbies, wild ducks, stop duck shooting, killing of our heritage brumbies, now koalas. This is important to all Australians!
Our planet must be preserved for future generations, there is no second planet.Labor must take better care of our environment, stop the pollution of our waterways, felling of trees, and save our wildlife.
There was a clear indication in this election that people don’t want polluting and dangerous sources of power. There was a huge overall Greens vote indicating the need for the Labour to listen and to respond to a sustainable and green future for our children.
Protect our native fauna and flora.
Stop immigration.
Protect our nature or vote them out …..
