ACF Community Macnamara, in partnership with Westgate Biodiversity, are having a volunteer day on Saturday 19th August at Westgate Park!

Please join us with community members from across Melbourne to spare some time looking after this beautiful park.

Bring your family and friends if you wish or just come along to chat with other like-minded people! 💚🐸

Schedule
9:30am   Introduction to the volunteer activities & safety briefing.
10:00-11:00am   Volunteer activity.
11:00-11:30am   Coffee, tea and biscuits.
11:30am-12:30pm    Volunteer activity.

🌱🐢🌏 What to Bring
This is Melbourne! Please bring a hat, sunscreen, jacket, reusable water bottle, enclosed shoes, face mask and gardening gloves (extra gloves will be available). All gardening equipment is provided.

Share a cuppa with us! Morning tea is on us, but feel free to bring some biscuits to share or your favourite herbal tea - a reusable cup for yourself would be especially appreciated.

👉 Meeting location: Westgate Park, Todd Road, Port Melbourne VIC - The exact meeting location within the park will be communicated closer to the date.

👉 Working with Children Check (for volunteers) - All organisations in Victoria that provide services or facilities for children are required to comply with Child Safe Standards. To comply with these Standards, Vic Parks which overseas the management of this park, require that all volunteers who attend an event after 30 June 2022 have applied for a Working with Children Check (WWCC) for volunteers. You can apply via the link below. The cards may take time to arrive. Proof of your submission is acceptable to participate in this event.
