Clean Up Australia Day with ACF Community Macnamara

Come along and help us spruce up Westgate Park this Clean Up Australia Day! 

ACF Community Macnamara is holding another Clean Up Australia Day event at the beautiful Westgate Park Port Melbourne on Sunday 5th March.

Revegetated and maintained over decades by volunteers, the park is an inspiring example of how a healthy ecosystem can be recreated within an urban environment. 🐸

This location is a real magnet for litter! 😣

At our clean up event, we will document what we find and upload the information to the Tangaroa Blue Foundation, Australian Marine Debris Initiative (ADMI) data base. The purpose of this data base is to identify common sources of waste which is polluting waterways and beaches and stop it at the source.

Bring your family and friends if you wish or just come along to chat with other like-minded people!

What to Bring
A hat, sunscreen, jacket, reusable water bottle, enclosed shoes, gloves (extra gloves will be available). Coffee, tea and biscuits is provided.  
Feel free to bring some biscuits to share or your favourite herbal tea, but a reusable cup for yourself would especially be appreciated.
