The politicians elected to represent us are trying to ignore the huge movement of Australians who want to #StopAdani. If we want them to take notice, we have to spell it out for them.
Join in for a big day of action on Saturday 7 October to spell out #StopAdani with a giant human sign!
Across the country thousands of people will be forming huge #StopAdani human signs for the national day of action. Will you join Stop Adani Douglas Shire to create a human sign in Port Douglas so big it can’t be ignored?
Date: Saturday 7 October
Time: 11-3pm
Venue: Four Mile Beach, Esplanade, Port Douglas
Details: Stop Adani Douglas Shire is collaborating with a group of environmental organisations to make a statement to save the Reef. It will be a family friendly event with information stalls and a sandcastle competition ending with a human sign to send a message to protect the reef from coal and climate change.
Together, we can stop this mine and create a better world, powered by clean energy, where our reefs and communities thrive.
This is an independently run event hosted by Stop Adani Douglas Shire, Stop Adani Cairns and the Douglas Shire Sustainability Group.
