Peter Gannon: Generating Offset Income Streams

Peter Gannon is the principal ecologist and director of Ecocentric Environmental Consulting, and an environmental consultant with over 20 years professional experience in ecological management.

He'll be sharing his experience with National and State Offset schemes, and will be looking at how private landholders can generate incomes from ecological assets as well as sound on-farm management practices and carbon / habitat smart farming.  Peter will also outline the pitfalls and financial opportunities associated with Native Vegetation Offsets, his experiences with carbon Offsets on his farm, and will talk about Wet and Blue Carbon sequestration and why these Offset schemes should be part of Australia’s mainstream thinking and ecological planning.
