URGENT: One billion dollars in public funding could be used to prop up Adani's giant polluting coal mine!
PM Malcolm Turnbull appears to be preparing to give multinational mining company Adani $1 billion of public money to fund a coal-carting railway line from the Galilee Basin to the Great Barrier Reef coast.
Media reports say the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) funds are earmarked for the project.
During the election, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said – on camera – that there would be no public funding for Adani's mine.
We are holding him to that promise. And we don’t want this mega-polluting coal mine.

When Mr Adani puts on the hard word, we need Malcolm Turnbull to know – we won't accept giving a billion dollars of public funding to a billionaire's company creating billions of tonnes of pollution.

Protection of the Great Barrier Reef and the wildlife is priority. This saves the Australiens families. We can live from Tourism. We say No to this Coal Mine Madness!
The GBR is worth so much more to our country than another coal mine. Protect our tourism jobs, protect our national identity, protect our planet.
This can only make sense if you are completely blind to the harm that will be done to our beautiful coral reef.
If Adani mining is going to harm our reef n environment then diifinitely I would say no to mining.
One thing I would like to understand here if mining is going harm our reef then why would the prime minister is funding to the company, it means there is some fishing… very simple
It makes no sense ecologically, financially or morally.

Government may collect it, but it is our money. Please do not waste it on a proposal that threatens our survival.
Please don’t let Adani build a coal mine in Australia. We are smarter than that and need to be more innovative.
