Tonight we’re holding a forum in Swan Hill to discuss what the river needs to be healthy, and what we can do before May 8th to make sure this vote gives the river what it needs.

The future of our rivers, lakes and Red Gum forests is on the line. So far the Basin Plan has not delivered enough extra water to the system to ensure they survive. That means potential devastation of flora, bird, and aquatic populations. They’ve suffered enough!

It is vital that we get people to our forum who understand that the rivers need more water. The loss of beauty and amenity of that water provides to our district will have long lasting impacts on our recreation and leisure pursuits.

This is an arid environment, and we can’t risk a water scarce future.

Please come along to our forum and stand strong for the Murray-Darling.
