Please join our CEO, Kelly O'Shanassy, to hear how ACF is campaigning for Australia to Recover, Rebuild, Renew for a sustainable future.
Joining Kelly is ACF’s Climate Program Manager, Gavan McFadzean who will discuss the often invisible, but critical, behind-the-scenes advocacy work with influential decision-makers that helps us achieve significant goals on urgent climate action.
ACF’s Nature Campaign Manager, Basha Stasak will present ACF’s activities relating to the EPBC Act Samuels Review and the successes of the #BeforeItsGone campaign. She will also update on our involvement in the protection of the Toondah Harbour wetlands in Queensland and the ongoing challenges around strengthening our national nature laws.
And ACF’s Environmental Investigator, Annica Schoo will be introducing an exciting new project that uses crowdsourcing to enhance the strength of our investigations work by exposing bad actors flouting environment regulations.
The event will be run online, with Zoom. If you’re new to Zoom and need support, that’s okay. Once you register online for the event, you’ll be sent an email with all the information you need to join through your computer, laptop or if you don’t have access to a computer, dialling in with your phone.
We look forward to catching up with you on Tuesday 10 November!
