Can you help us design the strategy, story and tactics of our new nature campaign?

Why this, why now?

The numbers are mind-boggling. Around a million animal and plant species are at risk of extinction worldwide. Right now, up to 200 animals go extinct every day – and it’s getting worse.

And then there's us, Australia – home to some extraordinary wildlife and while we should be world leaders in looking after them, we have one of the worst rates of mammal extinction in the world.

We're at the beginning of a mass extinction and we need to scale up the solutions, fast – like new national environment laws that actually protect nature, real funding to bring wildlife back from the brink, and protected areas to safeguard their habitat.

But to make any of these solutions a reality, we need a huge, powerful, active movement. We need to reach and engage many more people, from all walks of life.

Let's make this campaign incredible!

Passionate and determined people like you are the beating heart of our campaigns – and you know your local community best. So can you help us design this campaign?

In this hands-on workshop, together we’ll:

  • Talk about how you and your local community connect to nature.
  • Unpack the dominant ideas about nature and extinction, and how they might need to change.
  • Dig into what you think will engage people in your community.
  • Map local allies, audiences, and influencers we might need to work with to build power.
