Join the Lower North Shore group and learn more about caring for nature and meet with like-minded people in our community.

The co-ordinator at Habitat, Bev, will give a bit of a talk about the Habitat nursery and garden and about small bird habitat. Then she can take the group for a walk along Shrimptons Creek – either a short walk just looking at the work they have done in Santa Rosa Park or a longer walk along Shrimptons Creek to look at and talk about their small bird habitat corridor down to Macquarie Centre and back.

It is about 2.9 KM each way and with stopping to talk might take an hour each way. It is a very flat and easy walk. People are safe to turn around and leave the group when they get tired.

We can look at the options on the day, depending on conditions. Some people may be happy to just have a chat in the garden or neighbouring park.

ACF Community Lower North Shore is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
