Come along to the screening of Forest Defenders: The fight to protect Tasmania's native forests.

About this event

In 2020, two activist filmmakers joined the frontline campaign in the wild forests of Tasmania to save the Tarkine from logging.

Their new stunning documentary Forest Defenders has captured the wild native forests of Tasmania and the actions of hundreds of volunteers who put eveything on the line to defend these anicent forests. It is a grassroots documentary, filmed across Tasmania by the activists themselves.

This is a fundraising event for ACF Community Bayside with all proceeds going towards funding local environmental initiatives. This screening is the second 'Movies That Matter' event to be showcased by ACF Community Bayside in 2021.

Come along, learn more about the fight to protect Tasmania's old growth forests from logging and meet other like-minded people!
Food and drinks available to order from the bar.
