Friends of Merri Park invite you to Mother’s Day Planting

Bring your mum along and help Mother Earth by planting Indigenous understorey and groundcover plants on Wurundjeri Country.

It's going to be a great morning to connect with Country, cultural heritage, and one another. Here's what to expect:

• Wurundjeri Welcome to Country
• Taste panaryle (River Mint) tea
• Twine iuk (eel) from grasses
• Tree planting
• BBQ lunch (halal, vegan and GF options)
  

This event is organised by Friends of Merri Creek and the Merri Creek Management Committee, who have co-funded the tree planting. Catchment Cultural Connections is supported by Melbourne Water and Darebin City Council.

Please note that participants over 12 years old must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. ACF cares deeply for the health and wellbeing of all our community and encourages ACF Community group members to ensure you follow the latest government regulations in relation to COVID set out in the state they reside.
