Join hundreds of others at the rally on Friday to demand the coal lobby gets out of our politics.

Hundreds of people are coming together in the heart of Melbourne to show that action on climate change matters. Hear from amazing speakers from 350 Pacific, Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network, Australian Youth Climate Coalition, Democracy in Colour, GetUp! and high schoolers involved in the #StopAdani campaign.

This is one of over 50 snap climate rallies happening across the country to usher in Scott Morrison’s first day in Parliament as Prime Minister. Together, let’s stand up against the Morrison Government’s reckless attitude to climate damage.

Our new Prime Minister, Scott Morrison:

• Refused to acknowledge that burning coal is damaging our climate
• Tossed a lump of coal around Parliament, laughing
• Oversaw massive budget cuts to climate and clean energy programs
• Appointed a coal lobbyist as his Chief of Staff
• Appointed an anti-wind campaigner as his Energy Minister

It’s outrageous. Australians wants national leadership on climate change, and that means the coal lobby needs to be kicked out of our politics for good!
