Little champs for nature

Does your little champion love nature? Being in nature and learning about animals are some of kids favourite things to do, so we have designed an arts and crafts event to learn about nature and take action to protect it.

Little champs for nature draws on a tactic ACF had where we encouraged Members of Parliament (MPs) to champion an endangered animal in their electorate. For little champs for nature we hope your little one will do the same, so bring your little nature lovers to Indooroopilly Library for an afternoon of arts and crafts to protect nature!

On Saturday 17 of Feburary and Saturday 24 February we will be meeting from 2pm – 4pm to make picture collages of some of the animals that need our voices now more than ever and let our local Members of Parliament know how much we care about the places we love, and the creatures that live there.

It's an easy and fun 3 step process:

1. Pick which animal your little one wants to champion and make a collage
2. Take a picture with your little one’s amazing creation
3. Post it to social media and tag or send to your local Members of Parliament with a small note about why strong nature laws are important for your family. We will have @ tags, emails and all contact details ready to go!

After the event, you and your little champs can stay in contact for more upcoming family nature events.
