Vigil for Mother Earth

Our mother Earth is sick because we are profligate, overheating her. The IPCC report shows we have created a climate emergency. We just have time to save her by STOPPING FOSSIL FUEL BURNING, but we need to TELL EVERYONE it is urgent, for our children's and grandchildren's sake.

Come along in your StopAdani gear or earth clothing (blue, green, brown, earth pics) and save the earth props (up to you, pics from space especially). Candles provided. We'll be having speakers, songs, chants, and a march around the intersection to show the people of Hawthorn and Kooyong we NEED TO ACT NOW to STOP FOSSIL FUELS.

Also, as this is our last event for the year, we will be having drinks and a meal for those who are up for it at the Glenferrie Hotel nearby.

This will be a family- friendly peaceful event.
