Join us for a circuit walk at Mount Alexander Regional Park.
We will start by taking the Cockatoo Rocks Track from Leanganook Picnic and Camping Ground to the South Lookout, which offers wonderful views to the west. From there we will walk along the Goldfields Track to Dog Rocks, a stunning group of huge granite tors. We’ll then cross Joseph Young Drive and follow a well-defined track back to Leanganook.
We’ll meet at the Leanganook Picnic and Camping Ground. Wear sturdy footwear, suitable clothing, bring drinking water and protect yourself from sun, wind and rain.
The walk will take approximately 2 hours. It is a moderately easy walk, with some steep rocky sections and with branches and trees across the path in places.
