Join the University of the Third Age for a film screening and discussion of the documentary Guarding the Galilee.

Presented by Queensland-born actor Michael Caton, this 30-minute documentary shines a spotlight on the battle to stop the biggest coal mine in Australian history, Adani’s Carmichael project. The award-winning documentary team captures the raw beauty of the Queensland outback, where Adani’s mine threatens essential water resources.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion with ACF Stop Adani campaigner Basha Stasak.

We will be having a gold coin donation. All proceeds will go to ACF.

The film will be screened in the hall at the rear of Hatch Contemporary Art Space. Enter from the side path.

This is an independently organised community event run by University of the Third Age.
