We recommend you plan to arrive by 11.30am to give yourself enough time to get through security screening. This free event will start at 12noon.

ACF community members, alliance partners and friends in Canberra are invited to join us for this free premiere screening of the short documentary Heart of Country.

Narrated by proud Kuruma Marthudunera woman and ACF’s First Nations Lead Josie Alec, Heart of Country is an evocative journey across Australia that weaves together the stories and songlines of this ancient continent and the fight to protect it from damage caused by the mining, coal, gas and nuclear industries.

This special free screening will be followed by a conversation with Josie Alec and some of the First Nations custodians who feature in the film.

This film will have closed captions.

For more information about getting to the venue (including by private car, bike, taxi or bus) and accessibility at Parliament House, please visit their "Plan Your Visit" webpage.
