Are you passionate about nature and concerned about the climate crisis? Would you be interested to get a taste of volunteering with ACF?

Then come join the hands-on help volunteering team!

As a hands-on help volunteer, you will support ACF’s Community Organising and Community & Mobilisation teams to build people power and win campaigns.

Volunteer opportunities will vary week on week, so this is a role for people who enjoy events and trainings, can be a bit flexible in their availability, are confident in conveying when they are (and are not) available to volunteer, and have a passion for ACF’s campaigns for climate and nature.

ACF is seeking 70-90 volunteers across the country to join the hands-on help team.

Here's how hands-on help volunteering works:

  1. Sign up!
  2. Come to a welcome session and join our WhatsApp group.
  3. Each week we will post opportunities in the group, and you can join the tasks that match your time, energy and interest.

If you’re committed to helping protect and restore our living world and want to support the incredible work ACF does, sign up using this short form.

Take a look at the hands-on help volunteer position description for more details.

If you have any questions, feel free to email Phoebe Rountree (Mobilisation Coordinator) and/or Ken Matahari (National Network Organiser).
