Please join us for a guided walk in the Karawatha Forest Park, which is one of the largest areas of remnant bushland in Brisbane. The walk will be guided by one of the staff from the Karawatha Forest Park Discovery Centre. We will walk along some of the tracks and learn more about our local flora and fauna.
This will be a great opportunity for ACF supporters and their friends and family to get-together in a beautiful environment. We hope that you will be able to come!
Meet at 9:45am at the Discovery Centre. The walk will be from 10am to 11am, and then afterwards we will enjoy a picnic together.
The park is located about 18 kilometres south of Brisbane's Central Business District (CBD), adjoining Compton Road at Karawatha and Kuraby.
(Please note that the walk is not suitable for children under 5 years. However, little ones are very welcome to join us for the picnic).
ACF Community Griffith is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
