2:30pm - 4pm
At the next of our regular monthly meetings on the second Sunday of each month, Engineer Peter Todd will guide us through the official measurements of Australia's greenhouse gas emissions, highlighting problems that Australia needs to solve to achieve zero emissions.
Peter's talk will start at 2:30 pm on Sunday 12 August at the RSL and Community Club, 23 Letitia St Oatley (near Oatley Station) cluboatley.com.au.
Also from 1:15 pm, all are welcome to join us at the RSL for a light meal - look for Citizens' Climate Lobby T-shirts.
If time permits, we may also show an amusing instructional video - and discuss progress with raising awareness of the seriousness and urgency of action to reduce Climate Disruption. Methods used are writing to the press and holding meetings with community leaders, including politicians. The meetings are fun: they stimulate us to think of ideas and to act.
See you there!
