Forest embassy and forest tour

Over 4,000 hectares of our beautiful south coast spotted gum forest is being logged on both sides of the Clyde River in 6 active, 9 approved compartments with 7 more planned.

 

The Forest Embassy will be on the west side of the Princes Highway, 20 minutes north of Batemans Bay on the cnr of the dirt Old Princes Highway. This is 500m south of the East Lynne Store/Servo.

 

Forest Tour from 12.30 -2.30. Leave from Forest Embassy, park to meet on Old Princes Highway 200m in from the highway. Logging tour of Brooman Compartment 66 along public dirt roads - Old Princes Highway and Barkshed Road to return to East Lynne store. Logging operation hours are weekdays and until noon Saturday.
