Federal election campaign briefing for ACF Community groups

The next federal election is hugely important. Politicians and parties who are happy to block action on climate while the forests burn and the reefs die need to go, or things will only get worse.

But that won’t happen by itself. We know most Australians care about climate and nature, but for most, they are not top priorities when they vote. We need to make them prominent issues that activate people. We need to get people talking, and to make a difference to the election we need to start that now.

Fortunately there’s a lot of us, and if we get to work we can do it! So we're inviting you to a special strategy preview and planning session for ACF Community groups on May 19.

At the briefing we'll:

• Give you a sneak peek of ACF’s election strategy and time to ask questions
• Share some lunch and get to know each other a bit more
• Work together to set local goals
• Plan the first events together

Because this session involves making group plans, it’s important to have several people from your group there rather than just one or two. If you’re RSVPing, think about who else from your group needs to be there, and see if they can come too.
