Come along to volunteer at the beautiful Westgate Park in Port Melbourne!  This is a family friendly event being held by ACF Macnamara in partnership with Westgate Biodiversity.

Schedule
9:00 am - 9:30 am        Meet the volunteers from Westgate Biodiversity & ACF  Macnamara for an introduction to the planting activity and safety briefing.

9:30 am – 11:30 am     Planting activity.

What to Bring
Don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, refillable water bottle, gardening gloves (extra gloves will be available), and closed shoes. All other equipment is provided.
 
Getting there by bus 
The Sunday bus service #235 runs every hour. Alight at the terminus on Wharf Road, Port Melbourne. Cross the railway line and follow the sign to the BBQ area.

Getting there by car
Enter Westgate Park at the Todd Road car park (which is next to Salt Water Lake). Google Maps GPS coordinates -37.831470, 144.911610.

The BBQ area is a 75-meter walk from the car park along the Bay Trail in the general direction of the Yarra River.

Meeting location
Meet at the Westgate Park BBQ area which is a 75-metre walk from the Todd Road car park  (the carpark with the salt lake) or a 10-minute walk from terminus on Wharf Road, Port Melbourne. Google Maps GPS coordinates -37.830779, 144.910360
