It is important that we stay connected as a community during these challenging and uncertain times.

That's why we are inviting you to join our training session on using Slack to better connect your community group.

Slack is a great tool that allows our community group members to talk in real time. You'll be able to connect with your group, with other groups across the country and with ACF staff. Lots of ACF groups already use Slack, join this call to find out how to make the most of this tool.

This training is intended for:

  • Those who have used Slack before and understand the basics
  • Those who know the basics of Slack but would like to learn about some more intermediate features

This training will cover the following:

  • A quick refresher of the basics
  • Slack intermediate features: Threads, Call, Mention, Polls, Search, Save, Pin, Share, Reminder, Status, Notification management and emojis.
  • A live demonstration on Slack
  • Time for you to have a go yourself!

After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The webinar starts at 6.30pm AEDT – so that's 6.30pm in ACT, NSW, TAS and VIC; 6pm in SA;  5:30pm in the QLD; and 3.30pm in WA.

See you there!
