Inspiring others to action is a fundamental part of activating our wider community; to amplify our voices and to create the changes we want to see in order to protect our natural environment. Building meaningful relationships with our existing network, and beyond, is a critical part of building momentum for our movement.

That's why we are inviting you to join our training session on how to carry out relational organising to foster these relationships within the community.

Organising brings communities together around shared values, empowering them to take public action. Relational organising is an intentional process to find common ground with other individuals.

This training will help you:

  • Learn the key concepts and tools for relational organising
  • Understand relational organising is a skill and a craft
  • Develop and practice relational conversation skills
  • Learn how relational conversations are a tool to build a common agenda with allies

You will have the opportunity to observe a relational conversation in action and have the chance to have a go yourself!

The training starts at 6.30pm AEST – so that's 6.30pm in NSW, ACT, QLD, TAS and VIC; 6pm in SA and NT; 4.30pm in WA.

This training will go for an hour and a half.

Who is this training is intended for:

  • ACF Community group members who want to improve their skills in relational organising, particularly relational conversations
  • ACF Community group members in the People Power Network
  • ACF Community group members in the Advocacy and Campaigns Network

After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the training.

See you there!
