Confused about the difference between Google Drive and Google Docs? Is Google Slides the same as Excel? What is this elusive Cloud they speak of? It can all get a bit overwhelming…

That's why we are inviting you to this training on collaborating with Google Drive.

In this training we go back to basics and break down the nuts and bolts of Google Drive. You’ll also learn of a better way to collaborate together on community group documents without having to email them back and forth.

This training is intended for:

  • Those who have never used Google Drive before
  • Those who know the basics of Google Drive but would like a refresher
  • Those who know how to use Google Drive but would like to know how it could be beneficial to their ACF community group

This training will cover the following:

  • What is Google Drive and why do we use it?
  • Google Drive vs. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • How to set up Google Drive and get started
  • Sharing on Google Drive
  • How to collaborate on Google Drive through comments and suggestions
  • Introduction to rolling minutes

We will also give a live demonstration of how to use Google Drive and allow you to have a go as well!

After you have registered for the training, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Zoom meeting.

The training starts at 7pm AEDT – so that's 7pm in ACT, NSW, TAS and VIC; 6:30pm in SA; 6pm in QLD and 4pm in WA.

See you there!
