Training: Campaigning with Social Media

Social media allows us to engage and interact with others and reach new audiences. It has the ability to promote, recruit, gather, and share information. A coordinated social media campaign allows us to be focused and targeted in our fight for climate justice.

That's why we are inviting you to join our training session on Campaigning with social media.

This session will cover how to utilise social media to engage and grow your community.

This training will help you:

• Hear how to post timely and relevant content to your group's social media channels that will compel people to action.
• Learn tips on how ACF engages with audiences
• Discover how to localise ACF content for your region
• Explore effective ways to engage with local MPs, media and potential allies
• Learn strategies  on managing events, such as promotion and sharing

The training starts at 6.30pm AEST – so that's 6.30pm in NSW, ACT, QLD, TAS and VIC; 6pm in SA and NT; 4.30pm in WA.

This training will go for an hour and a half.

This training is intended for:

• Community group social media admins and moderators
• Community group members interested in social media for campaigning
