No one organisation can do everything it needs to win change on its own.

That's why we are inviting you to join our online training on how to build alliances in your community.

An alliance is formed when two or more organisations come together, to work on something they have in common, to have an impact.

This training will help you:

  1. Understand the value of building alliances
  2. Understand different kinds of alliances you can build
  3. Develop skills in mapping your community
  4. Feel confident to run a community mapping exercise with their group
  5. Develop skills in building a common agenda with a diverse alliance of groups in their community that may have different backgrounds to the group's current membership

After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link to join. 

The online training starts at 1.30 pm AEST that's 1.30 pm in ACT, NSW, VIC and QLD; 1.00 pm in SA and the NT; 11.30 am in WA

Who is this training for?

  • Any community members who wish to gain knowledge in any of the learning outcomes written above
  • Those who are a part of the People Power team
  • Those who are a part of Advocacy & Campaigns team
