No one organisation can do everything it needs to win change on its own.

That's why we are inviting you to join our online training on how to build alliances in your community.

An alliance is formed when two or more organisations come together, to work on something they have in common, to have an impact.

This training will help you:

  1. Understand the value of building alliances
  2. Understand different kinds of alliances you can build
  3. Develop skills in mapping your community
  4. Feel confident to run a community mapping exercise with your group
  5. Develop skills in building a common agenda with a diverse alliance of groups in your community that may have different backgrounds to your group's current membership

The online training starts at 6.30 pm AEDT – so that's 6.30 pm in ACT, NSW, TAS, and VIC; 6 pm in the SA; 5.30 pm in QLD and the NT; 3.30 pm in WA.

The training will go for an hour and a half.
