ACF Hunter Community Consultation

The conversation on climate and nature is making incredible progress and leading Australia down the path to a greener future. As this conversation progresses, it is so important that the people of the Hunter get to have a say and have their voices heard.

That is why we are hosting a Hunter Community Consultation. This is a meeting open to everyone across the Hunter. We want to hear your stories, hear about your connection to the environment and your community and hear about how you think ACF can work together with the Hunter Community to be a force for positive change. 

This means we want your ideas! What do you want a local ACF presence to look like? What issues do you want to see addressed? We will ask for your feedback on the night and explore what the best option for the Hunter is, together. 

Why the Hunter? The Hunter is the industrial centre of NSW and it is so important that the community gets to shape the environmental conversation. The region plays host to a whole range of people with differing life experience from coal miners, to farmers, students to working professionals. We want to build a local group that suits the needs of all of the community.
