Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?
Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.
Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)
Tips for your Facebook comment:
-
Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
-
Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
-
Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet
You can also click ‘like’ on other people’s comments to show your support.

Herr Kaeser,
Bitte schoen, Ihre arbeit für Adani in Australia ist schrecklich gefarlich fur die Umwelt. Halt und komme aus.
Money speaks louder than ethical responsibility
Shame on Seimans may your value fall through the floor, Adani be Damned!
This earth is not yours, it belongs to those who honour her!
Just returned to our bushfire-ravaged valley in NSW. I blame Siemens for being complicit with Adani in causing climate change.
I have written on Facebook and emailed Siemans
Please reconsider working with Adani on their mega coal mine that will do so much damage to our world.
Siemens has built a great reputation over years. Support for Adani will destroy that in a day.
Please reconsider.
Wake up and commit to %100 renewables today
Thanks for wrecking our future Siemens!
“Are your inventors also working on ways to move Earth’s entire population to another planet? With your support for fossil fuels and climate-destroying coal mines I certainly hope so. As a former Siemens staff member I am glad I am no longer associated with your planet-wrecking organisation. History will judge Siemens and all their staff – I hope you can live with your consciences.”
I have sent an email to Siemen’s begging them to reconsider their decision. Mr Joe Kaeser you need to stand up and do what is best for all our futures.
Don’t put profit before the planet.
Mr Joe Kaeser CEO of Siemens Australia.
Dear Sir,
Please do the right thing and refuse to build Adani’s rail signalling network, as a Father and Grandfather we owe it to our Children and Grandchildren a better healthier future, with out this Mega Coal Mine, that will supply coal to India that will increase pollution to a level never experienced in our life time, and give major health problems to future generations.
Siemens do not require this contract to exist, in Australia, but they definitely require the electrical Industry and switch board business, to enjoy future sale in Australia, which could be damaged by this decision.
For once put the wellbeing and health of future generation before company profits
Yours sincerely,
Roy Muffett
Oh yes, I emailed them. They will seriously regret any decision to back Adani and their BAD NEWS coal mine!
Siemans is a criminally reckless company to go ahead with the climate-wrecking Adani mine and its CEO, Joe Kaeser is a disgrace for engaging in employment that will damage our planet and its inhabitants.
This decision is a total disgrace and must be reversed immediately. Flooding the market with this supply of coal will disincentivise the development of coal-free alternative energy sources. The release of this coal will push the climate beyond the tipping points with frightening consequences for human life on the planet.
Your decision to support ADANI’S destruction of the Australian environment, its wild life and it’s population by your support of ADANI’S coal mine is a very backwards step for a “ progressive” company. We live in a GLOBAL WORLD as you well know and your decision not to do the morally right thing will impact on your gross earnings eventually… you cannot escape the global stare. The World’s rage will increase and your profits will go down! The world is watching what you do!!
Please, do the right thing and say NO TO ADANI.
Stop supporting Adani and their destruction of our beautiful country. Its past the time to invest in a clearer future! Do it for your children if not for ours!!
please rethink your actions today. Don’t be complicate in climate change escalation!
A word of advice to Siemens’ managers – don’t stake humanity’s future on traffic lights for a coal mine we don’t need! End your support for new fossil fuel projects and take a stand for green energy!
Shame Siemens! What will you tell your children and grandchildren when they find out that you are supporting the development of this massive mine, which will be a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, and the boiling of our planet.
Siemens should rule out working with or supporting Adani mines in any way.
The harms from industries like these are not wanted, money goes overseas and it is going to add to environmental problems as they have proved in the past.
