Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?
Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.
Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)
Tips for your Facebook comment:
-
Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
-
Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
-
Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

Tking out that ammount of water in a farming and cattle area that needs this under ground water has taken millions of years to build up as an aquaifer and help our cattle and farmers survive no mining should be done here, bloody stupid
I do not use ‘Facebook’ but have sent an email instead.

Worst environmental disaster ever , could ruin underground water table and toxic coal dust are just some of the problems
Siemens are deluded if they think supporting Adani’s mine will “make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable”. Coal is NOT the answer to any of that!

My children and grandchildren deserve a coal free clean future.
Apply your moral compass – put the environment and humanity ahead of profit. Rescind your support for Adani in Australia.
STOP PUTTING YOUR PROFITS OVER OUR FUTURE
Siemens- I urge you to reconsider being complicit with Adani in constructing their coal mine. This is climate wrecking behaviour. Further, the environment where the proposed mine is to be built is beautiful and precious.
Damien House, We as a species has cured disease, gone to space, our wars are because of borders but our biggest fight will be saving our planet and yet you are on the opposing side.
Supporting Adani’s proposal for the Galilee Basin is a criminally irresponsible act. Your vision of making “cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable” is hardly evidenced by a project like Adani. I encourage you to rethink your participation in this project.
Your willingness to work with the Adani mining project is both disappointing and short sighted.
Boycott Siemens.
Don’t do it, you’re fucking everything up.
Seriously, Siemens? Are you really happy to help Adani export millions of tons of coal to countries where hundreds of thousands of children die from pollution, from the effects of coal and oil burning every year? Are you seriously happy to enable Adani to make a significant and ongoing contribution to the over 7 million-plus premature deaths that are caused by pollution every year?
Proceed with this care-less madness and you won’t just be contributing to Climate Change.
And all for a few more dollars on your bottom line…
The cost of coal is far too high.
Please think again and DON’T join the killers.
Yours sincerely, Peter and Ann Townsend
I pointed the arrogance of their decision to do a deal with Adani at the expense of the future of the Gallillee Basin and the future of our peoples.
Siemens Australia, don’t install the rail signalling for Adani’s climate-wrecking mine.
Unacceptable Climate Criminals
As a Multinational company I thought you would take you responsibility as a global citizen more serious.
My understanding is that other companies have vetoed the work on the rail signalling for Adani’s coal mine in Australia but Siemens has taken the contract.
I can only conclude that the Australian Government dangled lucrative contracts or threats of exclusion from said contracts.
Otherwise it suggests a poor understanding of your position in the scheme of global citizenship, which I don’t believe would be the case.
Of course the contract would be very lucrative and it may just be about the money.
I will in the future have to reassess my purchase of Siemens equipment & products which is a shame as they are very good

Please, don’t support Adani
The future will see Seimens as a villain should they choose to collaborate in any way with Adani in Australia. Coal is an antiquated and dangerous means of power. We have plenty of sunshine in Oz – source that. Support wind farms etc and you will be seen as hero’s. No to Coal! No to Siemens involvement! No to Adani!!
Fuck Adani! Fuck Siemens!
Siemens can’t have it both ways. Either you are working ethically to reduce the world’s carbon footprint OR you are enabling the distribution of carbon producing fossil fuels (and getting a lot of money for it). Your double speak doesn’t convince. Shame on you.
Very angry that Siemens would consider working with Adani let alone sign contracts to begin the work. Our country has water shortages, intense heat and bushfires to contend with as the climate change escalates and you want to assist Adani in contributing to this by building the biggest coal mine in the world, How dare you. You are very short sighted if you think the entire world won’t be affected by this eco terrorism. And WHY, I want to know why anyone would consider this madness and then sell it as a good idea. You have to be crazy to go along with this.
