Started by the World Wide Fund for Nature as a symbolic lights-out event in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour is now one of the world’s largest grassroots movements for the environment, driving tangible, impactful actions for our planet.
Now, every year hundreds of millions of people around the world in more than 7000 cities in over 190 countries take part by switching off for 60 minutes as a symbolic gesture of solidarity to show they care about our planet's future.
Join us on March 26 2022, in a lovely bush setting to enjoy a peaceful evening for Earth Hour.
Please arrive at 8pm for settle in and to meet other like-minded people before the lights go out.
During the Hour, there will be a musician to entertain us with environmental songs and maybe a few requests. Afterwards, some light, cold refreshments will be provided, and fruit punch (no alcohol) soft drinks, and tea and coffee.
