A Community Gathering for Climate Justice NT

This gathering, hosted by NT Traditional Owners and the **Environment Centre Northern Territory**, is a unique opportunity to hear directly from those affected by the massive gas expansion in the NT and its impacts on Country, climate, and communities.  

💡 Why Attend?

The stakes are high. Fracking in the NT’s Beetaloo Basin could lead to thousands of drilling sites impacting aquifers, with depths reaching nearly 5 kilometers. Darwin’s Middle Arm gas hub, backed by federal funding, would facilitate the export of this environmentally destructive gas—worsening the climate crisis even more than coal.
