Learn about Earth’s 4.6 billion years of history through a time walk along the beautiful Merri Creek.

Deep Time Walk is a transformative journey through 4.6 billion years of Earth history via a 4.6km guided walk. It is an invitation to view the world differently, encouraging positive action and advocacy for a regenerative Earth.

This leisurely walk starting and ending at CERES and taking a loop alongside Merri Creek, represents the 4.6 billion years of Earth’s history. Distance is a powerful tool to help us understand vast time scales, and along the walk we stop to discuss key moments in the development of our planet. A Deep Time Walk is storytelling through walking. It is a learning journey through our body, mind and soul, and a beautiful way to tell the story of life.

Part history lesson, part mindfulness session this walk is all about stepping out of our lives and seeing the biggest picture.
