Dalyenong Nature Conservation Reserve, Woodland Wander & Picnic

Dalyenong Nature Conservation Reserve is an old woodland landscape with many very old trees. The purpose of this trip is to enjoy this landscape and imagine the Central Victorian Box Ironbark Woodlands as they were before white invasion and settlement brought so much change to the landscape.

This area is about 1 hour 20 mins drive west from Bendigo or Castlemaine. We will car pool and contribute $10 each to drivers' costs.  Please bring all your own food and drink, and perhaps a folding chair or picnic rug.
