Community for Creatures - Sydney Inner West event

Australians love our country's unique creatures, and the places they call home. But nature in Australia is in trouble. 2,000 Australian plants and animals are on the threatened species list, and the list is growing.

We need strong laws that actually protect nature.

Communities across Australia are coming together to send a clear message to politicians: communities nationwide love Australian creatures and we want strong action to save them from extinction.

At this family-friendly inner west event we will

• connect with others who care about protecting and restoring nature
• decorate the Community for Creatures banner (see the mock up below) to be photographed and delivered to our local Federal MPs
• write personalised messages about how we love nature to be used in this campaign and in other campaigns in the inner west
• hear about the inner west mascot, the Grey-Headed Fly Fox.
