For one critical week in November, communities nationwide are unifying under one banner to host local events and show our politicians that communities love Australian creatures and we want strong action to save them from extinction.

Keen to run a local event but have some questions? Join Mobilisation Coordinator Phoebe Rountree and Nature Campaigner Peta Bulling for an online info session for hosts, and people considering hosting an event.

At this short evening session we will:

  • Recap the importance of this moment: why we need to get out together and speak up to stop nature destruction now
  • Brainstorm and workshop ideas you have for your local event
  • Take you through the handy resources to help organise, recruit and promote your amazing local event
  • Answer any questions you have about this activity.

This will be an informal event – you’re welcome to come for the whole hour, or drop in briefly to ask the questions you have.

This event starts at 2pm AEST (that’s a start time of 2pm in VIC, NSW, TAS, ACT, QLD; 1.30pm in NT and SA; 12noon in WA).

Keen to host an event but can’t make this session? Come to the host info session #1 on Tuesday 5 September, or contact Mobilisation Coordinator Phoebe Rountree directly on [email protected] or 0401 166 263.
