Many people who are concerned about climate change – people we all know, like friends, family and colleagues – are unsure how to speak up and take impactful, collective action on this issue.

We can help change that through conversations that motivate others to take climate action.

ACF is delighted to be collaborating with our Climate Action Network Australia partners to offer this webinar on "Great conversations: engaging people in climate action." Will you join us?

Here's what to expect on the night:

  • Deepen your understanding of the political landscape and opportunities for climate action in 2021/22: ACF’s Climate Change Program Manager Gavan McFadzean will outline our opportunities to make this a huge year for climate action; the political relevance of people who are concerned but need encouragement to act for our climate; and CANA partners’ federal election plans to engage these communities.
  • Explore top tips for effective climate conversations: Climate for Change’s Partnership Manager Ajaya Haikerwal will take you through handy frameworks to build your confidence and knowledge in having conversations with friends, family and colleagues about climate action.
  • Connect with amazing people from across the movement: meet health professionals, parents and other dedicated community members. You’ll get to know one another and work together to identify which people in your life you will have conversations with this year.

This event is co-hosted by ACF and our Climate Action Network Australia (CANA) partners: Australian Parents 4 Climate Action, the CANA Network Support Team, Climate for Change, and Doctors for the Environment Australia.
