This event starts at 3pm AEDT – that's a start time of 2.30pm in South Australia, 2pm in Queensland, 1.30pm in Northern Territory and 12noon in Western Australia.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) has left the world in a much stronger position to keep cutting pollution this decade. But to achieve the ambition needed to keep global warming below 1.5°C, we must keep speaking out.

Join ACF, Australian Parents for Climate Action (AP4CA) and Surfers for Climate (SFC) as we elevate the call for climate action together.

At this online session you will:

  • Get inspired by stories from parents and surfers, sharing their reflections on the importance of conversations to build our communities and the movement of people calling for stronger climate action.
  • Hone your conversation skills alongside others in the community, as we explore tips and tricks for effective conversations.
  • Work together to identify who in our lives cares about climate change, but needs some support and encouragement to take action – and then reach out to those people by email/text to invite them to raise their voice with Together We Can.

Together we are stronger. By standing alongside allies like AP4CA and SFC, we can elevate our voices further – and surround politicians with a clear message to renew Australia with climate and nature solutions. See you there!

This event is co-hosted by Australian Parents for Climate Action, Surfers for Climate, and us at ACF.
