Many people who are concerned about climate change – people we all know, like friends, family and colleagues – are unsure how to speak up and take impactful, collective action on this issue.

We can help change that through conversations that motivate others to take climate action.

In October and November, ACF will run a series of online events to strengthen our skills and take action together, by reaching out to the people in our lives. We’re seeking your guidance to help us make these a success!

Join us for this kick-off session and help shape the series for others in the community in coming weeks.

Here's what to expect:

  • Part 1: Strategy. Gavan McFadzean, ACF’s Climate Change Program Manager will speak to the importance of engaging people who are concerned about climate change but unsure how to speak up and take impactful, collective action on this issue.
  • Part 2: Conversation skills and community building. Hone your conversation skills alongside others in the community.
  • Part 3: Put your skills to use! We’ll all pick up our phones and get chatting with the people in our lives, inviting them to raise their voices along with thousands of others around the country.
  • Part 4: Share and reflect. Give your feedback on the session while it’s fresh in your mind.

Can't make this session? Join the session at 3pm AEST instead!
